Day 7

It's finally Sunday and I get to rest again! I am so greatful! This past week has been so hard! I have been sore like I have never been before. This is going to be a long journey, so can not wait until the end of it! Next week will be pretty exciting, I'm glad that I've already been through all the work outs now, I know what to expect. I just hope I will make it though 5 more days of intense training.

Day 5

Today has been a great day! I got up this morning and went off to the gym. The run was still tough but I made it thought! The workout tonight will probably be brutal like every other one but I'm looking forward to it. I'm so glad that it's finally Friday! Week one is almost over!
Yesterday was great, instead of running in the morning I rode the speed bike! This is something I really like because it still kills my legs but at least I don't have to support the rest of my body. After all that I almost couldn't anyway, it took me a little while before I could walk out to the car. Yesterday's workout in the evening was really hard and I was all by myself because Danny had to work late at the Boise gym. I felt awkward at first like everyone was staring at me but once I got into the workout I didn't pay attention anymore. Only took me an hour last night!!! I was so happy the first 2 days took me almost 1 1/2 hours to complete. I hope this means I am building up more endurance.
I haven't said much about the diet yet... This is what I was afraid of most, I worried I would have a hard time following it. Boy did I worry about nothing! The meal plan is awesome! I love all the food, it's easy to take down, it all tastes great! The hardest part about the diet was trying to track down Ezekiel bread. Tastes yummy but sure have to look hard for it. They hide it all the way at the end of the isle on the very bottom row, you can barely get to it and its under the frozen veggies. I don't see why they couldn't just put it with the frozen Texas toast and French bread, that would make a lot more sense.
Well... wish me luck tonight!

Day 3

Day of REST!
and boy do I need it!

So yesterday.... I realized, this is going to be really really hard!

Danny and I got up at 5 and we were at the gym by 5:30! This was great, I started my run and my legs were moving a little slow at first but I was doing fine. Then, oh boy, I had to go faster and I just couldn't force my legs to move. I got home and took my shoes off. I have a huge blister on my foot from my stinking shoes. Work was fun with the blister and sore sore legs and abs! I looked pretty sad walking around the office.
Then for the weights at 7:30. I went back to the gym and started my strength training. I finished my first set but I was so worn out, I felt like that was a great work out and I was ready to go home. I don't think I would have made it through all 3 sets if Danny wasn't there pushing me to go on. The best part of the whole workout, being DONE!
When we got home I laid down on the couch, bad idea! It took everything I had to get up and go to bed, my whole body was stiff and sore. The second I hit the pillow I was out! Danny was wonderful! He gave me a massage to loosen up my muscles, with out that, I don't think I would be able to walk today.
I woke up this morning so stiff, I was afraid to get out of bed, worried my legs couldn't carry my body. I'm walking even slower today and every muscle is sore. I'm so glad I was able to take today off and rest, it's great that I don't have to go to the gym tonight!
I hope I will make it through tomorrow! Danny promised me this week will be the hardest, next week wont be as bad. I'm counting on that!

Day 1

Okay so I've got my diet and workouts for the next 3 weeks. I am very excited about this, I can't wait to see the change each day! I went to the gym this morning for my run, oh man I about died. I have never run at 8mph. EVER! I only had to do it for one little minute but I thought my legs were going to fall off and I was not going to ever catch my breath! Tonight was the hardest workout I have ever done in my whole life. I can't believe I can still stand after that! This is giong to be a hard couple of months.
From the mouth of my biggest fan "These workouts are going to cut you up!"

I want to record how I am feeling throughout the process as well. This is something very new for me, I am excited to get started! I can't wait for the end result! I hope I am strong enough physically and emotionally to complete this program and compete at the figure competition in May. I know the workouts will be tough, I know the diet will be crucial. I've created this blog for me, as a record. You are welcome to join me and follow along as I begin to transform my eating, my body and my life.
